BizClik Media is looking for a Finance Administrator to support our finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

We are looking for someone to join a small team who is adaptable, confident, and numerate in our Norwich office where we employ a growing, friendly team of around 80 employees. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage customer invoicing and follow up on overdue accounts.

Bank Reconciliation:

  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.

Expense Management:

  • Process employee expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.

General Ledger:

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

Global Transactions:

  • Handle transactions involving foreign currencies.
  • Reconcile foreign currency accounts and process related transactions.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain financial files and records.
  • Support the finance team with administrative tasks as required.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.

Ad Hoc Duties:

  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Finance Controller.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • AAT qualification or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role.

Skills:

  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. preferably QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of VAT and other UK tax regulations.
  • Experience in payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards (FRS 102, IFRS).

 

Working Conditions:

Office-based role with standard working hours (e.g., 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Fridays).
