BIZCLIK MEDIA GROUP REALIGNS ITS SUSTAINABILITY PLEDGE IN LIGHT OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

FRIDAY JUNE 4TH, 2021 - BizClik Media Group is excited to announce its sustainability pledge to strive for an environmentally friendly business.

As part of BizClik Media Group’s ongoing commitment to sustainable development within the business, they have undertaken some relevant changes to ensure they are as environmentally friendly as possible.

See the list below for a complete sustainability report breakdown.

Due to the nature of BizClik Media Group business being purely digital in almost every aspect, including contracts, project trackers and content, they have eradicated paper waste at all costs.

Similarly, they have reduced the need for single-use paper such as meeting agendas, project timelines and notetaking by adopting digital options. For example, leveraging G-Suite and online organisation tools such as Monday, not only to avoid unnecessary paper consumption but for a more collaborative and seamless workforce.

BizClik is headquartered in Norwich, a city in the East of England. Our office building is a short walk from the city centre and train station meaning that walking is a preferred commute for our local staff. The office is located on the first floor of Dragonfly House, a support hub for SMEs.  The building, previously used by the Broads Authority and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), is now rented to start ups, SMES, charities and social enterprises. The initiative comes as part of Norfolk and Waveney Enterprise Services’s Space for Growth programme, which sees that government-owned buildings don’t sit dormant. It has a BREEAM rating of 'Excellent' which means that it's in the top 10% of commercial buildings in the UK for its environmental credentials.

BizClik Media Group also has an in-office recycling solution that guarantees proper waste disposal. The kitchenette has a selection of waste bin options for reducing cross contamination in recycling. To encourage easier recycling, they supply wooden replacements for otherwise unnecessary plastic waste such as coffee stirrers.
