Head of Ad Operations

The Head of Ad Operations will be responsible for overseeing the refresh, operation and optimisation of our Google Ad Manager 360 platform across our network of 20+ brand websites. The role includes forming and leading the business digital ad strategy, managing both client and house campaigns, ensuring adherence to best practices, and meeting campaign performance KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

 Google Ad Manager 360:

  • Lead the refresh and optimisation of our Google Ad Manager 360 platform to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain ad delivery rules, targeting strategies, and inventory management practices.

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the setup, execution, and monitoring of both client and house campaigns across our network of brand websites.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and editorial teams to ensure seamless campaign integration and execution.

Ad Optimisation:

  • Analyse campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise campaign performance, including audience targeting, ad placements, and creative optimisation.

Ad Operations Best Practices:

  • Establish and enforce best practices for Bizclik ad operations, including trafficking, creative guidelines, and ad quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, updates, and advancements in ad operations technology and practices.

Client Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the marketing and campaigns teams regarding ad related inquiries, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the wider marketing and client campaigns teams.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in ad operations and campaign management.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Google Ad Manager 360 and other ad serving platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
