I had the opportunity to undertake work experience at BizClik Media, specifically within the marketing team, coordinated by Sprowston Community Academy. My time at BizClik has provided me with insight into an office environment and company operations.

Upon my arrival, I was given a tour of the office and an introduction into the company, what BizClik does, and what the marketing team do. Throughout my placement, I worked closely with the marketing team members, who were supportive and accommodating. Initially, I was tasked with assessing the company's website and social media platforms, providing insights into their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvements.

For the remainder of the week, I was supported by the Group Marketing Manager to learn how to create and schedule social media posts across various platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook using tools like Semrush. I focused my efforts on producing content for Healthcare Digital and Manufacturing Digital magazines. I found enjoyment in this task and therefore continued to do this aspect of marketing.

Overall, I had an interesting time on work experience and I am grateful for the opportunity to get insight into a professional workplace and to be with such welcoming people.
