• Kayleigh Shooter • Dec 11, 2023

2023 has been a transformative year for BizClik, our 16th year in business, from expanding our extensive brand offerings to attending events all over the globe, and some exciting behind-the-scenes developments to improve the business in years to come.

We continued to celebrate industry leaders

This year we published 16 top 100 supplements, celebrating the top 100 women, companies, and leaders in industries such as FinTech, Supply Chain and Technology.

The leaders featured in our prestigious lists greeted the lists with great feedback:

“Such an honour to be recognised. Thank you for the opportunity and congratulations to all other leaders too.”

“Thanks for the recognition! What an honour to be listed with such incredibly inspiring women.”

Sustainability Magazine was voted Top ESG Publication by Feedspot

One of our fastest-growing publications, Sustainability Magazine, was voted as the top ESG publication by Feedspot which was a testament to our team's hard work and dedication to the platform.

Glen White, CEO - “Sustainability Magazine was created due to the growing demand for content around Sustainability, ESG, Diversity & Net Zero topics across large scale enterprises.

Thanks to massive interest & growth from our corporate clients, Sustainability Magazine has become more than just a magazine, it’s now the No.1 platform and ecosystem for all aspects of sustainability.”

We travelled the world for face-to-face connection

Our team travelled all corners of the world from Europe to the Middle East and America to meet professionals face-to-face and form meaningful relationships.

We attended:

  • Mobile World Congress
  • Telecoms World Middle East
  • Money 20/20 Amsterdam
  • GITEX Global
  • Money 20/20 Las Vegas

We hosted our biggest-ever Sustainability LIVE event

September saw our biggest ever Sustainability LIVE event descend upon London’s Business Design Centre, with a queue snaking the building for delegates to enter - After the in-person tickets completely sold out days earlier.

The attendance at this event and being voted as the top magazine by Feedspot is a testament to the growth and hard work of Sustainability Magazine.

We welcomed work-experience students during the summer

We are passionate about helping the new generation of the workforce, and this year we welcomed work experience students in our marketing, design, and sales departments.

Their hard work did not go unnoticed by those in the business, and we were impressed with some of the innovative ideas that came out of their weeks with us.

We received MTN’s ‘Partnership Excellence’

In November, we attended MTN’s Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Awards in Dubai for an evening of celebrations, we attended alongside the likes of Microsoft, Dell Technologies, Nokia, and many other industry leaders.

We were privileged to walk away from the evening with the Partnership Excellence award.

We launched several new virtual events

This year, we expanded our events offerings to include more virtual events; Manufacturing Digital LIVE, Cloud & 5G LIVE & InsurTech LIVE and a VIP only hybrid event; EV Magazine LIVE.

These events provided virtual delegates with exclusive insights into industries such as insurance and manufacturing.

We improved behind-the-scenes details

This year, our technology team worked tirelessly to improve our systems and behind-the-scenes processes by integrating new tools and technologies, allowing teams to work seamlessly.

This year, we made the move from MailChimp to Adestra to provide our subscribers with a more tailored newsletter experience - Now, users receive their newsletters when they are most active, leading to a higher open rate for us too, thanks to Adestra.

Cybersecurity is of utmost importance at BizClik, which is why this year we implemented Mimecast email security, the platform provides us with unmatched security and helps protect our employees’ inboxes from cyber threats.

This year also marked the establishment of our in-house development team; we welcomed Gavin Holmes (Web Manager), Michael Taiwo (Full Stack Software Engineer), and Ian Roberts (Head of Technology). The team works tirelessly to improve internal processes, procure new technology and software, and develop our brand and main websites.
